Mild Winter and Early Spring Mean a Possible Early Open

The mild winter and favorable early spring has translated into a possible early opening for the course this season.  The course wintered very well and the tarps were removed during the last week of March and the greens were cut during the month of March for only the second time over the last 26 years.  Should the weather continue to cooperate over the next ten days we could be looking at a possible opening date of April 15 or 16.
